Amy Bergen joined Heart of Adoptions, Inc. in September 2005 as international agency attorney in the Naples office of Heart of Adoptions. She is trained as both a lawyer and social worker. Amy’s primary role is to provide legal support and guidance to our international program, which we hope to grow in the future. Amy has worked extensively in the field of international adoption and is the mother of two children adopted from the People's Republic of China.

Amy graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Social Work degree. She later attended law school and graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. Amy is a member of the State Bars of Illinois and Florida.
